From potential to performance

Management

Tony Horgan

FOUNDER, MANAGING DIRECTOR

Tony identified a niche where organisations could successfully apply cognitive-based principles to enhance culture and performance. He successfully implemented this approach to close the gap between theory and practice. The response from organisations was phenomenal, with feedback indicating that The Pacific Institute work was practical and measurable.

After establishing sound relationships in Australia, Tony then began to apply similar principles within the education and corporate sector in the U.K.

For the past 30 years, The Pacific Institute, under Tony’s leadership has effectively worked to deliver real results for clients.

Tony is supported by a team of highly experienced specialists and his focus now is on ensuring The Pacific Institute’s vision and philosophy is articulated and its work delivered in a practical way.

Prior to establishing The Pacific Institute, Tony was a Chartered Accountant and a former State President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants W.A. He has chaired the Institute’s annual Federal Budget Breakfast as well as pre-election debates between the Premier and Opposition Leader.  Tony has been a past board member of St John of God Hospital and several community organisations, including educational institutions.

He is a Foundation Fellow of The Australian Institute of Company Directors and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia.
